Foot specialists

We understand that it is not feasible for you as a foot specialist to purchase materials for every brand of work or safety footwear and follow a separate protocol regarding the manufacture of orthopaedic insoles. 4Allbrands offers a solution to this, namely one supplier & protocol for all brands of work footwear.

1. Orthopaedic insoles

4Allbrands orthopaedic insoles, also known as inlays or podiatric insoles, are fully custom-made based on the end user's individual feet. The foot specialist is entirely responsible for measuring the feet and modelling the orthopaedic insoles. This enables you as a foot specialist to make all the required medical corrections based on your own specialist findings.

To ensure that the orthopaedic insoles are completely satisfactory, we offer the following options:

SOLE

Orthopaedic insoles manufactured and finished by 4Allbrands.

KIT

Orthopaedic insoles manufactured by 4Allbrands with loose cover material.

COVER

Loose cover material including instructional protocol for safe use.

MULTICOVER

Loose cover material in bulk packaging including instructional protocol for safe use and finishing of the soles.

Retrospective certification is required!

Approach

4Allbrands works closely with foot specialists across Europe. As a foot specialist, you are thereby responsible for measuring and modelling the orthopaedic insoles. 4Allbrands then supplies the certified materials. Curious about the process? A step-by-step explanation of this collaboration is given below.

Step 1

The foot specialist measures the feet and models the orthopaedic insoles.

Step 2

The foot specialist orders the required product through NOCS and provides the modelled files where necessary.

Step 3

We supply the required 4Allbrands product to the foot specialist. When a Cover or Multicover is chosen, the foot specialist manufactures the orthopaedic insoles themselves and finishes them with the supplied cover material according to the 4Allbrands instructional protocol.

Step 4

If Multicover is chosen, the foot specialist is legally obliged to retrospectively certify the orthopaedic insoles with the unique ID number in the Neskrid Online Customer System (NOCS).

2. Semi-orthopaedic insoles

In addition to orthopaedic insoles, we also offer semi-orthopaedic insoles. Our range of semi-orthopaedic insoles currently consists of three variants: Stabiliser, Anatomical and Classic. All these variants are available in three types of foot arch: low, medium and high. All have unique features for increased comfort and (preventive) relief of standard foot issues.

Laws and Regulations

(Semi-)orthopaedic insoles are medical devices and must therefore be certified according to Regulation EU/2017/745 for Medical Devices (MDR). When used in work or safety footwear, these (semi-)orthopaedic insoles must also comply with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation EU/2016/425. This is necessary because work and safety footwear belongs in the category of personal protective equipment. If (semi-)orthopaedic insoles are not tested in accordance with this regulation, the safety of the wearer may be compromised.
