Neskrid is more than a brand name; it's my family name, but written backwards. The company is therefore an essential and inseparable part of my life's journey. In 1924, my grandfather laid the foundation by establishing Neskrid and then my father took over. In August 1986, I decided to strengthen the family business as the third generation.

Today, I am the technical director and responsible for production, product development, and certification. As I am primarily responsible for our production in Portugal, I spend time there monthly to ensure quality. Additionally, I make decisions regarding purchasing and (out)sourcing, and provide technical support to our team. This diverse range of tasks makes my work at Neskrid incredibly enjoyable and challenging!

In addition to my role at Neskrid, I am an active member of the NEN, CEN, and ISO standards committees for product certifications. Thanks to my extensive knowledge of European safety standards, I am often consulted as a valuable source of knowledge. As of January 1, 2024, I have the honor of being the chairman of the NEN standards committee "Foot- and Leg Protection."

In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy outings with my wife and grandchildren. I also like to take my MG convertible out for a drive to completely unwind.
